Charlie shares his journey as a first-generation producer, starting from Ohio and moving to Kansas to expand his operations. He talks about the challenges and opportunities faced in direct-to-consumer beef sales and the importance of community collaboration in the cattle industry. "We needed a way to maximize our revenue, and direct-to-consumer sales allowed us to capture more of the end dollar."

Charlie highlights the critical role of technology and data in modern cattle farming, from tracking costs to ensuring transparency in custom feeding operations. He explains, "The tech side really helps us show full transparency of exactly what it's costing to put a pound on your cattle."
