Advanced Feeding: Enhancing Precision in Feed Management
In August, we launched Advanced Feeding, a feature aimed at optimizing feed management for cattle operations of all sizes. This new functionality simplifies the planning and execution of feeding schedules while improving resource allocation and cost control.
Feed Planning
With Advanced Feeding, creating and managing feeding protocols is now a streamlined process. Producers can define rations, set transition periods, and assign protocols to specific lots, ensuring a tailored approach to each group of animals. The system's flexibility accommodates various feeding strategies, making it adaptable to different operational needs.
1. Feeding Protocols
Simplified Setup: Define rations and duration on feed for each protocol. The platform automates the rest, allowing you to focus on broader management tasks.
Cost Projections: Cattler automatically calculates the projected costs of each feeding plan, offering greater insight into feed expenses and helping optimize resource management.
2. Ration Step-Up Managing transitions between rations can be complex. Cattler simplifies this process by automating the steps, ensuring seamless transitions and reducing the likelihood of feeding errors.
3. Lot Feeding Plan Develop growth plans based on the feeding protocols defined for your cattle:
Accurate Projections: Cattler provides end weight forecasts, gain per head, and cost of gain, giving you better control over performance metrics.
Real-Time Adjustments: Modify feeding schedules as needed, with the system generating alerts ahead of ration changes to keep you informed.
Feed Delivery Automation
Advanced Feeding includes automation features designed to optimize feed delivery operations, helping producers manage resources more effectively:
Automatic Load & Drop Orders: By setting mixer capacity, Cattler automatically generates efficient feed orders based on your requirements, optimizing load and drop schedules to save time and money.
Mixer Capacity Optimization: The system accounts for mixer capacity per ration, reducing unnecessary deliveries and improving efficiency.
Auto-Adjustment of Orders: If there’s a variance in feed delivered, Cattler adjusts future orders to ensure target rations are consistently met.

Customize your billing process by formatting invoices per lot or per owner and adjusting details as needed. This flexibility helps streamline your billing and ensures clarity.

Manage receivables and balances with ease. Track each account’s status, value, and grain bank, and receive notifications for overdue invoices to keep your accounts in check.
Enhanced Integration
This feature offers full integration with your feedyard operations, and in the near future, we will also connect with popular accounting systems like QuickBooks to simplify your processes further.

Cattler recently participated in the prestigious Aapresid Congress, the leading technical event in the region, organized by the Argentine Association of No-Till Producers.
